Manchester City sign Barcelona goalkeeper

Finally, Manchester City has announced the signing of Claudio Bravo from Barcelona. The Barcelona goalkeeper is signed on a four years deal.

Bravo brings with him a wealth of experience including back-to-back La Liga titles with Barca and successive Copa America triumphs with Chile.

The Chilean’s arrival is expected to push Joe Hart to the exit door with Everton and Liverpool interested in his services.

The 33 year-old has won 106 caps for the country and is also the captain. GET for FREE: Get the latest sports news on Naij Sport He won his 100th international cap in the Copa America Centenario as Chile beat Argentina in the final on penalties and is the first Chilean to win a century of caps.

He moved to Barcelona in 2014 from Real Soceidad and has won eight different title in just two years with the Catalans, playing 75 games and being named in the 2014/15 La Liga Team of the Season.

He was also voted Copa America’s best goalkeeper in 2015 and 2016 as well as earning a place in the Team of the Tournament each time.

He was signed on the recommendation of Pep Guardiola who wanted a goal keeper who is good with his feet.
